Pricing (Academy Cost)

The VALEO Driver Academy operates a comprehensive infrastructure with dedicated personnel to ensure your successful qualification and transition to Europe. All fees and services are fully detailed in your Academy agreement, ensuring complete transparency with zero hidden costs. You bear minimal financial risk: our success-based model means you only pay once you have successfully secured your position and started your new career.

To keep your personal expenses as manageable as possible, we explore every opportunity to refinance a significant portion of the qualification and academy fees directly through your future German employer. Depending on the employer's policy, the remaining balance that is not covered by the company would be your responsibility to settle. Given the strong salary levels on the European transport market, paying this balance is smooth and achievable. You can choose to settle the amount via a single payment, an individual loan, flexible monthly installments, or a combination of these options. In our experience, many graduates clear their balance in under a year, remaining indebted for only a short period before enjoying their full, long-term earning potential with very little long-term financial risk.

Administrative Fees & Potential Funding

Starting your new career in Germany involves a few official administrative and qualification fees, but our system is structured to keep your upfront personal expenses as low as possible. When submitting your visa application at the German Embassy, you will pay a standard government visa fee of approximately €80 directly to the embassy. To speed up your entry, your future employer pays the €411 fee for the accelerated skilled worker procedure upfront on your behalf, which, depending on your individual agreement, may be reimbursed after you begin working. The mandatory Accelerated Basic Qualification course—consisting of 140 hours of theory and 10 hours of practical driving—costs roughly €3,000. We actively apply for German state funding to cover up to 100% of this tuition cost, meaning you would only be responsible for this expense in the unlikely event that state subsidies are denied.

During your first one to two months in Germany while attending classes and passing your IHK exam, you will be employed under a fixed-term, part-time contract with a low working-hour model. This guarantees that you are fully enrolled in the German social security system and completely covered by health insurance from day one. Because you are dedicated full-time to your studies during this phase, the non-working hours paid during training will be recorded and comfortably worked back via a standard working-hours time account (Zeitarbeitszeitkonto) once you are fully qualified and driving full-time. All in all, these financial details are straightforward, manageable, and represent a solid investment in your professional future. Given the high earning potential on the European transport market, any minor initial outlays or working-hour balances can be settled quickly, ensuring you enter the German workforce with minimal risk and maximum long-term stability.
